Satisfied but not pleased

Yeah there we go!

Game day:
At Balance Gym in Solna.  WoD 3 in the, Opening for Reebok CrossFit Games 2011.

Mission: 5min AMRP Squat Clean & Jeark 75kg.

First and only attempt for me (Bodywight at 74.6kg, today).

I was trowing this WoD down with a pretty good dude... Nümi, Swedish champion in CrossFit 2010th Probably also the top five in Europe now after WoD 3 into the openings.

A number of spectators(Balance memebers) at 20-25, looked at us when we performed the current task. They were a bit shocked but not skeptical or negative about our visit. QUITE THE OPPOSITE, I think we gave a good impression, people got to see some real CrossFit athletes and we had many positive compliments after we were done.

I judge this incredible athlete, when he slaughtered his 5 minutes. The film showed 27 approved repetitions.

My turn: I had not quite made up my mind how I would get the wight from the squat clean to over head.

This challenge made me realize that I need to practice technique. Heart and strength is there. But I finish them 10 last reptitioneran with presses. Which is not the most efficient way of working with heavy weights.

There are many ways to get stronger. One way and probably the best way is to become technically strong.

-Im not realy pleased with my preformance today but am still Satisfied.

It feels so good that I reach my goals and feel that I have not completely wrong self insights in my physique.
I will grow allot, only be able to perform the same challenges as the best athletes in the world makes me grow.
While I see that there is so much to get better at. As I said this is just the beginning of a long journey in CrossFit.

Opening WoD 3 numbers:

Nümi = 27
Andreas = 20+1 goal in one year have 30+ on bodywight. I will go thruster then ;)

-------------------
We were both pumped by endorphins and could not stick to just "Wod 3".

So we ended with a heart-pounding sprint killer.

We did three round of 3 reps with 40kg sledge sprints and then withdraw the sledge by pulling back the weights on the rope (As to sheet a sail).

/ Keep in touch
